Time  is one of the most important factor that will determine your success  in the multiple choice type Exam for the Banks. For bank exam we need a proper Time Management Strategy. Most of the student fails to crack exams because of their  improper time management for attempting questions. So in this post we are going to discuss about how to manage the time in the Bank Exams.
Remember in most of the bank exams papers  you have to pass each section separately so you  should assign a proper time slot for each section.if you will spend too much  time on any sections, you may suffer from lack of time in other sections.you should decide before going to exam how much time to spend on which sections.if we talk about the SBI Bank PO Paper pattern it will be of 3 hours duration. In the first two hours will consist of test for the following four Sections:
  1. Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension )
  2. Test of General Awareness , Marketing and Computers
  3. Test of Data Analysis and Interpretation
  4. Test of Reasoning (High Level)
Each section has 50 questions of 1 mark for each section.for each wrong answer there will be a penalty of 0.25 Marks.
This test will be followed by a descriptive Test with 1 hour duration. the test will be of “Test of English Language (comprehension, short précis, letter writing & essay)”. The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to be decided by theBank. Descriptive Test Paper  of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored qualifying marks in the Objective Tests.
TIME TO GIVE FOR EACH SECTION IN BANK EXAM:
Time to be given for English Language                                                      20-25 Minutes
Time to be given for General Awareness, Marketing and Computers  15-20 Minutes
Time to be given for Data Analysis and Interpretation                           40-45 Minutes
Time to be given for Reasoning Section                                                     40-45 Minutes
Some Important Tips :
