Air India Charters Limited is a government owned airline related organization, which promises to offer quality flight experiences.  Air India Charters has invited applications from Indian citizens for the recruitmet process of a total of 7 positions which are senior in nature and very responsible too. The interested and eligible candidates are encouraged to apply for the relevant post on or before the 24th September 2012 to be considered for the vacancies.The number of vacancies for each post and the concerned pay structure for the various posts is as follows:
  1. Quality Manager : 01 post, Pay: Rs 135000, Age Limit : Below 65 years, Eligibility :  Engineering Degree with 10 years of experience
  2. Line Maintenance Manager :  01 post, Pay: Rs 135000,  Age Limit : Below 62 years, Eligibility :   BAMEC in HA or JE with 10 years of experience
  3. Workshop Manager :  01 post, Pay: Rs 135000, Age Limit : Below 65 years, Eligibility :  BAMEC in HA or JE with 10 years of experience
  4. Safety Manager 01 post, Pay: Rs 65000, Age Limit : Below 65 years, Eligibility :  Engineering Degree with 5 years of experience
  5. Stores Manager  01 post, Pay: Rs 65000, Age Limit : Below 65 years, Eligibility :  Graduate Degree with 10 years of experience
  6. Planning Manager :  01 post, Pay: Rs 65000, Age Limit : Below 65 years, Eligibility :   Graduate Degree with 10 years of experience
  7. Training Manager  01 post, Pay: Rs 65000, Age Limit : Below 65 years, Eligibility :  Engineering Degree with 5 years of experience
The selected candidates would be on a fixed term contract of 3 years. This can be alternated with the upper limit age that has been set for the post by the authorities. The termination of contract can occur on the sole discretion of the organization in case of unsatisfactory performance by the candidate. On a similar basis, if there would be a requirement for extension of the contract, it will be based on the performance of the candidate. The initial posting location would be Trivandrum (Kerala), but there are possibilities of relocation as the time goes by. Again, on the basis of organization’s requirements, the selected candidates may also be shifted to the other sister concerns associated with Air India Charters Limited in the country.
     
Selection Procedure :
On the basis of the qualifications and the experience of the candidates, they will be called for Personal interview/s. The interview will test their suitability for the available position. Once the candidate clears the interview round/s, a Pre-employment medical examination has to be undergone to check the physical fitness of the candidate and this round determines the final selection or rejection of the candidate. Every selection will be dependent upon the number of vacancies in each department.
