Flying/Technical/Ground Duty Officers In Indian Air Force
Indian Air Force invites applications from eligible Indian candidates (Men and Women) for different technical positions as officers. Depending on your qualifications, you could join one of the various branches in the IAF. Broadly the Air Force has three branches with further sub-streams :

For Men
  • Flying Branch  No.13 Short Service CommisssionQualification: Graduates in any discipline from a recognized University who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all  Papers put together and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level  OR BE/ B.Tech degree from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together .
  • Technical Branch No.84 Aeronautical Engineers/56 SSC CoursesQualification: Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics ) Minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognized University  or cleared Section A and B examination of Associate Membership examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies.
  • Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanic) 
    Qualification: Minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognizedUniversity  or cleared Section A and B examination of Associate Membership  of the Institution of Engineers Aeronautical society of India by actual studies.
For Women
  • Flying Branch No.42 Short Service CommisssionQualification: Graduates in any discipline from a recognized University who have attained minimum 60 % marks in aggregate in all  Papers put together and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level  OR BE/ B.Tech degree from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.
  • Technical Branch No.56 SSC CoursesQualification: Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics ) Minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognized University  or cleared Section A and B examination of Associate Membership examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies.
  • Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanic)
    Qualification: Minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognizedUniversity  or cleared Section A and B examination of Associate Membership  of the Institution of Engineers Aeronautical society of India by actual studies.
Ground Duty Branches for Men/Women :
  • Administration & LogisticsQualification:Graduation Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or a post graduate degree/ equivalent Diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
  • AccountsQualification: Graduate Degree in Commerce (B.Com) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or Post Graduate degree in Commerce (M.Com)/ CA/ ICWA with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
Note : Admission test will be conduct on 24 February 2013
