- As a PC Board Designer with Broadcom you will assist hardware engineers in the design and development of complex and detailed layouts of printed circuit boards using CAD tools.
- This role involves a high level of collaboration, to produce state-of-the-art designs of new or modified, high density, printed circuit boards while establishing design standards and configurations.
- You will work from schematics and basic descriptions of the board function, configuration and arrangements as defined by engineering.
- As a developing designer you will take responsibility for owning a single PCB layout along with library CAD model generation. You will apply basic technical expertise and procedures to assist in the resolution of a variety of issues.
- You will work on problems of appropriate scope and follow standard practices and procedures, analyzing situations and/or data so answers can be readily obtained. You can expect to receive little instruction on day-to-day work and general instruction on new projects or assignments.
- We work in a team environment and it is important that you have the ability to interact well and communicate effectively with other members of the project team.
